Love by Design is a heart-centered, holistic, cutting-edge psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal the deep wounds of relational trauma and reclaim a life of connection, empowerment, and authenticity.
Love—how it is given, received, and held—is not random. It is shaped by early experiences, and it can be redesigned. Healing begins by rewiring not only the mind, but also the body, the nervous system, and the capacity for safe, meaningful connection.
Because you weren’t meant to live disconnected from yourself or others. Love is the container in which everything is held. Whatever you're struggling with, therapy at Love by Design helps you map the trauma imprint, gently and precisely, guiding you toward deeper healing.
I specialize in using a range of therapeutic modalities, but they are never applied in a rigid way—instead, they are selected and adapted based on your specific needs. The goal is to tailor the work to you, rather than asking you to fit into a particular model. This allows the healing process to be more focused, efficient, and deeply attuned to your lived experience.
I believe every person holds within them and innate capacity to heal, transform, and live in alignment with their truest self.
My work is centered around helping individuals move beyond pain and limitation to discover their fullest potential and create lives that feel connected and whole.
I’ve dedicated my life’s work to supporting individuals navigating the full spectrum of trauma, relational pain, and complex emotional experiences. Grounded in advanced, evidence-based trauma therapies, my approach isn’t about fixing you—it’s about guiding you home to yourself. Healing is the process of remembering who you are beneath the survival strategies. It’s a gentle return to your core self—a place of integration, where the parts of you that have longed for connection, safety, and belonging are finally allowed to emerge and be seen.
This is not quick-fix therapy. This is deep, transformational healing grounded in the latest neuroscience and attachment theory, therapeutic approaches at the forefront of relationship science guided by compassion, precision, and care.
From developmental and attachment wounds to acute PTSD and complex trauma, I use an integrative, mind-body approach to help you move from survival to thriving.
Nurturing and accessing your relationships with self is not merely self-care; it is relational care. It's where the parts of you that learned to stay quiet finally find their voice, and the true self you've always carried within begins to emerge.
This is the work of becoming, of returning to your essence, of accessing your truth, of reclaiming your core self. Accessing your innate knowing that has always lived inside you. Trusting it, and letting it lead.
An integrative trauma informed therapy is used in my practice to address all layers, from the deep brainstem to emotional and cognitive patterns.
At my practice, therapy is grounded in the latest clinical and neuroscientific findings on how the brain and body process emotion, with emotion-focused work at the core of healing.
Therapy begins with stabilization and deep brain reorientation, ensuring that no part of the trauma story is left untreated. This is the foundation for true, lasting healing.
This type of therapy allows core emotional experiences to complete and reorganize at the deepest level, creating the conditions for profound and lasting change.
I specialize in advanced, integrative psychotherapy that targets the invisible wounds of relational trauma—those left by early attachment injuries, emotional neglect, invalidation, and boundary ruptures. These experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others, often leaving behind implicit patterns of disconnection, shame, or inner fragmentation.
Using a precision-based, evidence-informed modalities, therapy targets all the complex layers of trauma stored in the body, nervous system, and relational templates. Therapy focuses on bi-directional healing: helping you relate more safely and compassionately within yourself, while also transforming the way you connect in your most important relationships.
Many psychological injuries occur within the context of relationships. A neurobiologically attuned, relationship-based approach is essential for repairing those wounds.
This work supports both internal regulation and interpersonal reconnection, activating the brain’s natural capacity for integration, emotional resilience, and the ability to give and receive love..
Trauma and relationship issues are inseparable—because trauma is rarely just about the event. It’s about how it shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. Whether it’s early attachment wounds, relational betrayals, or complex developmental trauma, the impact echoes through our emotional patterns, our nervous system, and our closest relationships.
Healing is not one-size-fits-all. Every person carries a unique trauma blueprint. I use advanced, evidence-based trauma treatments—spanning the brain stem, body, and mind—to precisely target the layers of injury: from unconscious survival responses to emotional disconnection, attachment ruptures, and relationship breakdowns.
By integrating psychodynamic and relational therapy, emotional focused therapy, somatic psychotherapy, neurobiological re-regulation therapy, attachment focused EMDR, trauma-informed attachment therapy, and additional modalities, I help patients resolve long-standing issues in less time—because we go straight to the root with accuracy and care.
Research in the fields of affective neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology affirm the integration of the modalities that I use with my clients, drawing from attachment theory, somatic psychology, trauma psychology, transformational change studies, memory reconsolidation, and positive neuroplacisity.
Couples wanting to reconnect or repair broken trust
Adults navigating childhood trauma or toxic relationships
Teens struggling with emotional overwhelm or disconnection
Parents seeking to break generational patterns
Those feeling stuck despite years of self-work or previous therapy
Professionals facing burnout or emotional fatigue
Trauma and relational challenges often affect not just individuals, but entire families. Our integrative approach to healing is especially effective for parents and children because we address the root causes of pain, not just the surface behaviors.
Many families come to us after trying other therapies that didn’t go deep enough or didn’t last. What makes our approach unique is that we work with the whole brain, from the most primitive survival centers (like the brainstem) to the emotional and thinking parts of the brain. This matters—because trauma is stored not just in memories, but also in the body and the nervous system.
I am trained in a wide range of advanced trauma and relationship-based modalities. That means we’re equipped to meet your child, your teen—or your whole family—wherever healing needs to happen, whether it’s soothing anxiety, strengthening attachment, or restoring communication and connection at home.
No part of the body is left behind. From deep sensorymotor interventions to relational repair and emotional regulation, we customize care so it’s not only effective—but often brings relief more quickly than expected.
If you're feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure how to help your child or teen, we want you to know: healing is possible. And it doesn't have to take forever.
Let’s find a new way forward—together.
“We tried everything—but nothing worked until we found this.”
“Finally, someone understood the layers and helped us heal as a family.”
"My teen had refused every kinf of therapy until this."
"This was the first time someone saw the whole picture - our child and our family."
Adolescence is already a complex season—and when your teen is also carrying unresolved trauma, anxiety, or emotional shutdown, it can leave the whole family feeling overwhelmed and helpless.
At Love by Design, I specialize in working with teens and their parents using a neuroscience-based, integrative approach that helps get to the root of what's really going on. Many parents come to me after trying years of therapy that didn’t seem to help—or that their teen refused to engage in.
My work is different. We don’t just talk—we work from the bottom-up, helping to rewire the nervous system, restore safety, and rebuild trust. Because trauma often starts deep in the brain healing also needs to reach those deeper places.
Cutting-edge trauma therapies techniques are specifically designed to work with:
Parents learn how to respond differently—so they can feel more confident and connected, even when things are hard.
Healing is not just possible—it can happen more efficiently and deeply when all the layers of trauma are addressed in a personalized, compassionate way.
If your teen is struggling—and you're wondering what to do next—I'm here to help you both come back to connection, strength, and hope.
"I had been in and out of therapy for over a decade — cognitive therapy, talk therapy, even EMDR — but nothing touched the core of what I was feeling. I was stuck in survival mode, constantly overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. At Love by Design, for the first time, I felt seen on every level — body, mind, and soul. Talia’s ability to combine deep brain work with somatic and relational healing literally rewired how I function. This wasn’t just therapy — it was a return to myself."

"I came to Love by Design after years of trying everything: individual therapy, couples counseling, medication, retreats. Nothing helped the way this integrative trauma therapy did. Talia's precision and understanding of how trauma lives in the body and brain was unlike anything I’d experienced. I didn’t just learn how to cope — I finally started to heal. If you’ve been told you’re ‘too complex’ to treat or that it’ll always be this way, please don’t give up until you try this."

"As someone with complex developmental trauma and attachment wounds, I was always told healing would be slow or partial. But the approach at Love by Design was different. Talia knew how to work with the parts of me that even I had disconnected from. Using techniques that accessed my deeper brain responses and emotional memory I began to experience a kind of healing that felt profound and authentic. For the first time, I’m not just surviving. I can honestly say I feel whole."
